have referred to
Lagos State, Yoruba-land, Nigeria
as
a “NO MAN’S LAND”
and
have called
Lagos State, Yoruba-land, Nigeria
(a) “NO MAN’S LAND”that these persons who call and/or have called Lagos / Lagos State (a) “NO MAN’S LAND”ARE the Igbo tribe / Ibo tribe persons
that this expression “NO MAN’S LAND” means that Lagos / Lagos State does not belong to the natives of the area who are of the Yoruba tribe
and means furthermore in fact that not only does Lagos / Lagos State not belong to the natives of the area ( i.e the Yoruba tribe ) it infact DOES NOT BELONG TO ANY NATIVES AT ALL hence the terminology “NO MAN’S LAND” in reference to it.

just as it brings to fore

if a RECEIVER of a MESSAGE
does not understand / interprete that MESSAGE in the SAME WAY
as the SENDER,
issues could arise from
their differing interpretations / understanding of
the COMMUNICATION
as,

a Speaker / User of International English
not acquainted with

would wonder,

why MICHAEL JACKSON would go around singing a song proclaiming himself a NEGATIVE PERSONALITY
or why,
for example,
RIHANNA would go around expecting that a dog would be carrying money around instead of looking for the money in the SAFE or PURSE, for example, in the room where the security dog was placed in front of, for example.

WHAT DOES AN IGBO / IBO TRIBE PERSON WHO SAYS LAGOS IS NO MAN’S LAND MEAN BY THAT ?
as far as i can understand it,
an igbo / ibo tribe person who says
LAGOS IS NO MAN’S LAND
means that
LAGOS IS A LOCATION WHERE A NIGERIA VERSION OF THE AMERICAN DREAM CAN BE ACHIEVED.
by this, i mean that
to the igbo / tribe speaker
Lagos is a place where a person can go to from any part of Nigeria and reside or do business in or work in without fear of being murdered, attacked or in any way molested unduly by the natives of Lagos or by Yoruba tribe persons
Lagos is a place where a person can go to from any part of Nigeria and achieve his / her dreams in education or business or corporate career work without fear of being murdered, attacked or in any way molested unduly by the natives of Lagos or by Yoruba tribe persons
e.g
the late igbo tribe DR. NNAMDI AZIKIWE
attended METHODIST BOYS HIGH SCHOOL, LAGOS
and among later happenstances,
later founded LAGOS CITY COLLEGE, SABO, YABA
and played roles in Nigeria Politics after joining the NCNC ( NATIONAL COUNCIL OF NIGERIA AND THE CAMEROONS ) Political Party which was founded by the Yoruba tribe SIR HERBERT MACAULEY
and later became PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA circa 1960 via the platform of the NCNC ( in the administration in which SIR ABUBAKAR TAFEWA BALEWA was PRIME MINISTER OF NIGERIA and DE FACTO HEAD OF GOVERNMENT ). the late igbo tribe DR. ALEX EKWUEME
attended KINGS COLLEGE, LAGOS
and is rumoured to have had his house in LAGOS protected during the NIGERIA CIVIL WAR / NIGERIA BIAFRA WAR by a Yoruba tribe friend of his who handed over the house back to him after the war ended.
DR. ALEX EKWUEME later became VICE-PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA circa 1979 via the platform of the NPN i.e the NATIONAL PARTY OF NIGERIA Political Party ( in the administration in which ALHAJI SHEHU SHAGARI was PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA and DE FACTO HEAD OF GOVERNMENT ). the late CHIEF AUGUSTINE ILODIBE founded

what that person ACTUALLY MEANS

which translated IN SENSE OF MEANING translates as
TOWNS, CITIES, VILLAGES HAVE NATIVES
