i would say that : yes
it is possible
both as a theoretical idea
and as a practical reality
the caveat being that
a look at Nigeria Politics from say the 1950s till date 2024
will reflect that in Nigeria Politics
there is .. and has been ..
tribe racism .. tribal racism .. tribalism
thuggery
violence
and
any lady / female who seeks to run for the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
must be well equipped
mentally
physically
spiritually
financially
to deal firmly with these issues and any other issues arising.

it is not my intention to point fingers
however
during the period of the 2023 Nigeria Elections
there was a story that went viral
in Nigeria social media
detailing the happenstance of a lady who went to exercise her fundamental? human? rights? and civic responsibility to vote
and she was MACHETED
i.e she was ATTACKED WITH MACHETES
and IN FACT
the attacker HIT HER ON HER FACE
MORE THAN ONCE WITH THE MACHETE
i.e
the attacker HIT HER ON HER HEAD
MORE THAN ONCE WITH THE MACHETE
at a guess
perhaps the attacker had intended
to
KILL HER
but somehow she survived that wicked hate attack.
the story was viral.
i will search for it and if i see a link address to the story i will add it to this comment as an addendum i.e by way of update.
i guess you get the point.
this lady just went to vote.
and they attacked her with a machete to kill her.
what if she had been running for office as a candidate in the elections ?

like i said earlier i don’t want to point fingers
however
memory seems the recall
stories on social media
of a lady who was running for office of Governor or so
and her political party office was burnt down .. according to rumours by a competing political party / political aspirant.
you can google it and see what turns up.
the lady had strong credentials and was seen as a formidable candidate .. according to rumours.. and so the competition did everything possible to stop her.
so, i guess
any lady / female who seeks to run for the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
must be well equipped
mentally
physically
spiritually
financially
to deal firmly with these issues and any other issues arising.
