a simplistic example

a fellow really likes a lady

while both of them are strolling in the garden
sees a beautiful flower
and
plucks it off
and
hands it over to the lady
in
demonstration of his liking for/of her.
on the face of it,
this is no big deal.
the guy just likes the babe.
and is being silly?
period.
no big deal.
fine.
now
let’s take another look at it.
that flower is dead.
the minute it was plucked off death was pronounced on it.
if it had remained attached to the plant, shrub or tree
from which
it was plucked off,
it would probably have lived to it’s full natural life term.
the basic reason that fellow plucked off that flower
was because
it could not defend itself from that fellow
and
neither could the
.. parent plant .. parent shrub .. parent tree ..
protect itself and it’s flower
from the activity of that fellow.
the distractionary argument can be made that
the beauty of the flower was what attracted the fellow to it.
an argument that lacks depth.
if
that flower had live bullets in it
and
a mechanism that triggered the firing of live bullets
from it and it’s parent plant / parent shrub / parent tree
that fellow who plucked it
will keep well away from it
no matter how much he likes his lady friend
and
no matter how beautiful the flower is.

plants

their interactions with life forms against whose predatory activity
they have little or no capacity to defend themselves

■ goats, cows, etc eating grass

.. and therefore killing the grass they have mown,
■ fellows sending flowers and bouquets of flowers to the ladies they like
.. and therefore in effect ultimately leading to
the speeded-up / fast-tracked death of those flowers
to interactions between animals
( .. which category the homo sapiens really belongs to
irrespective of
the homo sapiens claims of superior mental faculty
over other animals ).

is a very beautiful animal.
it’s gait and stride
as it moves about
is an absolute delight to the viewing eye.

unable to defend itself

the ferocity of the big jungle cat

if a single lion or a pride of lions i.e a group of lions
attacks
a single antelope or a herd? of antelopes,
the outcome is
invariably
that
the antelope(s) is/are killed by the lion(s)

eaten by the lions.

(1) the antelope is a beautiful animal
(2) if no other gift

which should be a defense mechanism for it,
when the hunting lion takes it by surprise
and
sinks it’s teeth into it’s flesh,
the antelope is usually
unable
to extract itself
away from
the clutches of the attacking jungle cat.

life forms
.. irrespective of how beautiful or gifted they are ..
that are
unable to defend themselves effectively
from other life forms
are subject to being preyed upon by those other more predatory life forms
also applies to humanoids

(1) Europeans i.e Western Europeans leaving Western Europe
to go and colonize
i.e
to go and defeat, rule and dominate
Asia, Australia, Africa, the Americas
i.e
to go and colonize i.e defeat, rule and dominate
4 out of the 5 continents
known to mankind
(2) Biafra losing the Nigeria versus Biafra War (1967 – 1970 ),
(3) Hamas and the anti-Isreali component of Palestine
finding that
it has bitten off a few more than it can chew this time
with their attack on Israel
that led to a retaliatory pulverizing response from Israel
(4) the black Jews ( e.g the falashas of Ethiopia? )
finding that
since their return to a white Jews dominated Israel
their women have
.. according to rumours ..
been given Depo Provera medication, etc
without their knowledge
leading to a situation where
the population of the black Jews has
instead of increasing or remaining the same
decreased by half at least
since their return to Israel.
