???? Liz Truss : Greetings, Your Excellency, Liz Truss.

it is perhaps because of the fact that

historically and till date 2023

Britain, by and large, has a strong record of respect of the rights of the individual

.. be they citizens of the United Kingdom or transient visitors to the British Isles ..

that there is much international respect for Britain as a community in which

the administration

and

the representatives of the administration ( .. in whatever form they may be ..)

by and large generally do that which is right and above board.

it therefore came as a shock to many around the world to hear in the news recently that

in Britain

an individual was impersonating another individual who is ordinarily not resident in Britain

and

when the said original genuine individual being impersonated arrived in Britain for a visit he was detained at the international airport via which he arrived Britain

on account of the impersation of his person by an individual in Britain known to authorities who detained him at the airport to be impersonating him within British territory.

Your Excellency, Liz Truss, the expectation of the world regarding Britain in such a situation ordinarily is that if

British authorities are aware that an individual is falsely presenting himself / herself to be another person i.e is usurping the identity of another person i.e is impersonating another individual

the said impersonator should be tracked down by the relevant and appropriate British law enforcement authorities and agencies

arrested and charged to court for the unlawful impersation of another individual and also for forgery of documentation if it is discovered that the impersonator faked identity cards and any other such identification materials while falsely presenting himself / herself to be another person.

Your Excellency, Liz Truss, in the recent instance of Mr. Peter Obi, who is/was one of the 3 leading Presidential Candidates for the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the recently concluded 2023 Nigeria Presidential Elections

( the other two leading Presidential Candidates being Alhaji Bola Tinubu who has emerged as the President Elect having been declared by Nigeria’s INEC – Independent National Electoral Commission – as the winner of the 2023 Presidential Elections

and

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar )

it was the observation that when Mr. Peter Obi arrived in Britain recently

Mr. Obi was detained for some hours at the airport by British authorities on account of the happenstance that there is/was someone impersonating him in Britain.

odd.

very odd.

if someone is impersonating him and British authorities are aware of this, why doesn’t the relevant British authority track down that impersonator and arrest that impersonator ?

if the impersonator is so elusive and so wily that he / she is available to avoid all the relevant law enforcement agencies in Britain ( – – – including .. Scotland Yard ? .. the MI5 ? .. InterPol .. etc ? – – – )

is it the right, fair and proper thing to do to detain him [ or any other person being impersonated to the knowledge of British authorities]

on arrival at a British International Airport ?

if he were just being called aside for a minute or two to be advised that British authorities are aware that there is someone impersonating him in Britain ( .. and thus perhaps that he should conduct himself with caution? while in Britain .. ) that is one thing entirely and would probably be of benefit to him as he would thereafter remain alert and probably on the look-out for potential fraudsters during the period of his trip in Britain.

however, that a transient visitor to Britain is detained upon arrival on British landed territory on account of a criminal? impersonation of his/her person by someone already present ( and roaming? free? ) in the British Isles before his/her arrival in U.K territory is rather odd.

Your Excellency, Liz Truss, many around the world ( and in Nigeria ) would be very grateful to you if you were, perhaps, to be able to find time within your very busy schedule to look into this matter and perhaps also channel? the appropriate relevant authorities of British Law and Justice to sort of as it were get to the bottom of things in this matter.

Thank You, Your Excellency.

Best Regards.

????PART 1 OF 2 PARTS ????

???? Theresa May : Greetings, Your Excellency.

there has been shocking news here in Nigeria, Africa that

a visitor to Britain was detained for some hours upon arrival on British soil at the port of entry

because some one had, to the knowledge of British authorities, being impersonating the just arriving visitor for some time in Great Britain.

Your Excellency, Theresa May, this action of detaining a just arriving visitor at a British International Airport because someone had been impersonating him in Britain is not an exercise in levity nor is it a careless, administrative action of little or no import.

it is an activity that in its very self carries much grave import.

Your Excellency, i have taken the liberty to address a post via facebook to her Excellency, Liz Truss on this happenstance.

below is a copy of the post as pasted at her facebook page.

i should be very grateful, Your Excellency, Theresa May, if may, perhaps, be able to find time within your busy schedule to take a look at the copied and pasted material below.

many around the world ( and in Nigeria ) would be very grateful, if perhaps upon finding time to go through the material, you may wish to threw the weight of the substance of your highly regarded person to some effort to get to the bottom of things in this matter.

Thank You, Your Excellency, Theresa May.

Best Regards.
